Kindness helps us all to feel more connected and making someone smile can brighten up their whole day!

In this pack, children will explore what it is to be kind. Children will reflect and set their own kindness goals.

Take part in the weekly challenge.

You could send in a photo or video of your act of kindness, or simply share your completed Kindness Goals worksheet with us on Twitter via @PLCommunities #PLPrimaryStars or by emailing them to

What resources are in this pack?

Learning outcomes

Children will:

  • explore kindness and set their own goals
  • understand that stable, caring relationships, which may be of different types, are at the heart of happy families and are important for children’s security as they grow up.

Exploring Kindness

The Be Kind challenge is all about acts of kindness and what you can do to help brighten up someone's day.

Download the challenge PDF for ideas and more information about the challenge and use the Exploring Kindness activity sheet to think about the different ways in which you can show kindness.

Kindness Goals

We would love to hear about your three kindness goals for the week.

Download this PDF to write down your goals. If you don't have a printer, be creative - you can send a photo or short video of your act of kindness instead.

Don’t forget to share your kindness goals with us on Twitter via @PLCommunities #PLPrimaryStars or by emailing them to for a chance to be featured on the Premier League Primary Stars news story
