[Jack Sharkey] I'm a big fan of stir fries.
[Zaf Iqbal] Pakistani food. Grilled lamb chops.
[Martin Kelly] Avocado, along with salmon or crushed tomatoes.
[Jota] Lettuce, because it's popular in Spain.
[Zaf Iqbal] I'm quite lucky working at a football club, because I get to work with people from different countries around the world.
[Jota] If everyone was from Latin America, they'd eat, like, rice with one egg.
[Zaf Iqbal] I've got quite a few players that come from countries in Africa, so Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana.
[Chris Curtis] We have a couple of players that originate from France. One of our goalkeepers comes from Spain.
[Zaf Iqbal] Most players, they like the food from their country of origin. Rice-based, fish-based, chicken-based, and also lentils.
[Chris Curtis] Their mealtimes and the things that they may eat in the evening are very different to that what we would do in the UK, so we try and factor that in as much as possible when we're thinking about the diet and how we work with that player.
[Zaf Iqbal] We do have some footballers who fast during Ramadan. We try and advise plenty of grilled food, to make sure they don't get too many fats on board. Also foods which are slow-release carbohydrates.
[Chris Curtis] I think the main thing is looking at matching the energy demands versus the amount of food that they take on board. One of my favourite foods, actually, is milk. It's great to have after you exercise. It's a rich source of carbohydrates, a rich source of protein, and very high in calcium, which helps keep your bones nice and strong.
[Zaf Iqbal] Nuts, fish, grilled chicken will all help with muscle repair and also muscle growth.
[Chris Curtis] On your plate, you want as much colour as possible. Beetroot, which is very rich and very red.
[Zaf Iqbal] Avocados.
[Chris Curtis] Kale and spinach.
[Jack Sharkey] Onions, peppers.
[Chris Curtis] Carrots, peas.
[Jack Sharkey] This is a simple way of making sure you're getting all the vitamins and minerals that you need within your diet, that are going to be important for your day-to-day activities.
