Getting ready to go,

my heart pounds and excitement rises when I put on my hat and scarf.

I can't wait to get to the stadium

and see all my favourite players on the pitch.

 

[DOOR OPENS AND CLOSES]

 

My dad and I sing cheerful chants as we march

hand-in-hand to the match.

>> MAN : Official programs

 

[TANOY ANNOUNCMENTS]

[APPLAUSE AND CHANTING]

 

>> GIRL : The atmosphere inside the stadium is electric,

so many people all smiling and singing.

When you take your seat

and look around at all the other fans,

it's the start of an amazing adventure.

 

[DRUMMING]

 

>> CROWD : Watford!

[DRUMMING]

[CHEERING]

>> GIRL : Who knows what will happen in the next 90 minutes.

 

[APPLAUSE]

[CROWD GASPS]

[CHEERING]

 

>> GIRL : We're on the edge of our seats, never knowing what will happen next.

And then, it's home time.

When we get in, we have a nice hot chocolate

and then I snuggle down to write

to capture memories of the match in the best way I can.
