Did you know?

In 1970, Hull City were involved in the first ever penalty shootout in England. This took place after drawing against Manchester United in the semi-final of the Watney Cup. Hull City's goalkeeper, Ian McKechnie, went on to become the first player to save a penalty during the shootout.
