Once you’ve created your Premier League Primary Stars account, this simple guide details everything you need to know to make the most of the website and resources. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with our team.
Using packs
Premier League Primary Stars teaching resources are bundled together into easy-to-use 'packs'. These packs contain ideas and step-by-step instructions for both in-class and homework activities, pupil handouts and films, as well as all of the supporting information you'll need to use Premier League Primary Stars resources with your pupils.
Each pack is flexible - the contents have been created to be used both sequentially, forming a whole teaching session e.g one hour, or to fit into shorter teaching sessions e.g. twenty minutes. Suggested timings have been given for each activity to make it easy for you to find what you need.
Saving packs
Once you've browsed the packs and have found your favourites, you can save them to your account so you can easily find and share them with your pupils.
You can find all of your saved packs in the My Packs area of your account dashboard. You can also assign your saved packs to your pupils from the My Packs area, too.
Creating folders
You can curate your lessons by collecting and saving your favourite selection of resources into a personal folder.
By creating a personal folder, you can upload supporting documents you've created yourself to supplement the saved resources. Once created, you can assign a personal folder to a class of pupils.
You can find all of your personal folders in the My Packs area of your account dashboard. You can also assign your personal folders to your pupils from the My Packs area, too.
Creating classes
A class can be any group of pupils – for example, a school class or an after-school club.
You can only assign packs to your pupils once you have successfully created a class.
Class code
When you've created a class you will get a class code to share with your pupils. This isn't your pupils' password but it is important that you make sure you take a note the class code - your pupils will use this to register for their own account and access packs of resources you have assigned to them.
If you need a reminder of any of your class codes, you can find these listed in the My Classes area of your account dashboard.
