Challenge 16: Complete the speech challenge (12 July 2020)
We are joining once again with the National Literacy Trust to bring you another exciting challenge and live event this week!
To explain this week’s challenge, here is top football author and creator of Roy of the Rovers, Tom Palmer:
We’d like you and your family to create your own version of the Roy of the Rovers story, by completing the blank speech bubbles in the comic strip. There are two comic strips to choose from, taken from Roy of the Rovers: Kick Off, and everything you need can be found in our Complete the speech challenge resources.
Plus, our live event took place on Monday 13 July presented by CBBC’s Ben Shires. Watch the interview with Tom Palmer and listen to Tom read an extract from the first Roy of the Rovers book, Scouted. You can even get a free copy of it by heading to the National Literacy Trust Family Zone!
