When teachers at Great Malvern Primary School discovered the Premier League Reading Stars intervention, they knew it could be a game changer for reluctant readers at their school.
Many pupils started school with low literacy and oracy skills and lacked access to reading materials at home. But now, every pupil taking part in the programme is reading at or above national expectations.
