Last year, Premier League Primary Stars partnered with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to run an exciting, cross-curricular competition, inspiring primary pupils to celebrate teamwork and the power of diversity.
The competition asked pupils to get creative and design their very own advert to show everyone the importance of diversity within teams. This could be anything from a poster, to a poem, to a storyboard for a film. A free resource pack was also launched, containing a range of curriculum linked activities to get pupils’ creative juices flowing!
Despite delays due to COVID, we are excited to announce our Roar! for Diversity winners, with the overall winner awarded a school visit from the Premier League and the Cricket World Cup trophies:
Natalie - Year 5 - The Annunciation RC Junior School
Helen - Year 4 - West Tyford Primary School
Daisy B- Year 6 - Tanworth-in-Arden Church of England Primary School and Nursery
Luke - Year 4 - St Hughs Primary Voluntary Academy
Congratulations to our winners and a huge thank you to everybody who entered - we loved seeing the amazing adverts that your pupils created.
You can still access all our free Roar! for Diversity resources, full of activities for your next PSHE lesson. Make sure to also visit Chance to Shine - ECB’s charitable partner, to discover more free curriculum linked resources on their website.
