To celebrate No Room for Racism, 30 Premier League Primary Stars pupils visited the Tottenham Hotspur stadium to speak to Ledley King (former Tottenham Hotspur captain) and Jerry Azumah (former Chicago Bears player).
The Premier League Primary Stars pupils asked some insightful questions which could support discussion about race and diversity in your classroom:
- Have you ever experienced racism?
- Why is it important to celebrate differences?
- What have you learnt from your teammates about other cultures?
Ledley and Jerry have shared some incredible insights into the importance of respect, allyship and diversity, offering lots of advice to young people about how they can support their teammates!
