A Milestone in Education
Premier League Primary Stars Inspires 1.4 million Pupils in 23/24.
Key Stage 2 pupils Evie, Daisy and Sumpeng from Eversley Primary School in Enfield were proud winners of our Ultimate PE Lesson competition with EA SPORTS. They were treated to an exciting day with Liverpool FC and England player, Joe Gomez, to film their winning PE lesson with the motion capture technology used to create the movements of players in video games such as FIFA 19!
Watch our behind-the-scenes film to see highlights from the filming, as well Joe Gomez’s answers to some tricky interview questions asked by the girls!
The three girls’ lesson idea came up tops with fast-paced, inventive ideas around teaching marking, defending and intercepting. This lesson has been broken down in to four bitesize clips, to demonstrate best practice to teachers and pupils, plus to pick out key learning points. Download the lesson pack and try out the new ideas.
Joe Gomez highlighted the importance of children developing PE skills, saying “It gives you the foundations that you need to have basic coordination and that sort of thing. But just having the confidence in yourself from that age that you can do certain skills is the main thing that helps you when you get older”.
We are also pleased to announce that the final motion capture clips are now available on the site as part of a new resource pack. Explore the clips today!
