A Milestone in Education
Premier League Primary Stars Inspires 1.4 million Pupils in 23/24.
Star reporters, Harry and Joseph, won the chance to interview former Premier League player and sports presenter Jamie Carragher for the fantastic work they produced in our journalism themed weekly challenges.
These challenges asked young people to think like sports reporters as they wrote a match report and drafted their own questions to ask at a post-match press conference.
As part of a virtual Q&A session, the boys were able to interview Jamie about his time playing for Liverpool FC, his favourite players and discuss what makes a great football pundit:
“You’ve got to make sure you’ve got the edge on everyone else and if you do that extra bit more work, in a few years you could be taking my job. I’ll have to up my game with you two around.”
You can still find everything you need to give our Roving Reporters and Hot Seat Heroes activities a go by heading to our challenge page. While you’re there make sure you check out our ultimate summer challenge, bursting with activities and ideas to keep families busy over the summer holidays!
Don’t forget to show us how you’ve been getting on with our summer challenge by sharing your work and pictures with @PLCommunities using #PLPrimaryStars or emailing PLPrimaryStars@premierLeague.com.
