Discover our new No Room for Racism resources!

By Premier League Primary Stars · Fri 14 October 2022

No Room for Racism is well under way, and with it comes a new pack of resources to promote, respect and celebrate difference. There is no better time to initiate important class discussions that tackle tough PSHE topics.

Discover our new FREE No Room for Racism - Allyship resources, exploring what it means to be an ally through an engaging lesson presentation, supported by worksheets and a film featuring professional football players your pupils may recognise!

Here are some of the highlights of the new pack:

One thought-provoking presentation: Pupils are introduced to the concept of allyship, why it is important and how they can be an ally to others. Famous football players such as Demi Stokes, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Adam Lallana express what it means for them to be an ally to help spark students’ interest and ideas.

One inspiring video: Pupils have the opportunity to watch Premier League and Women's Super League football players discuss diversity and the importance of allyship in football.

Two exciting activities:
The first activity encourages pupils to identify what an ally is like (adjectives) and what an ally might do (verbs). To explore this a little further, there are some interesting questions for them to consider.

The second activity gives pupils the opportunity to express their own ideas and emotions through creating an acrostic poem on allyship. Here, there is space for reflection, creativity and some artistic talent!
