In order to check your pupils understanding of calculations involving time, encourage them to make three different football match timelines.
Pupils will first need to make time and match event cards by writing on pieces of paper or printing off the ones made by us here:

- Match event cards
Then using the instructions on the activity sheets, add the key match events along the timeline and answer the questions.

Pupils will write a football match report based on the results of a Premier League football match from this season, using knowledge of adding and subtracting time.
