For this challenge you will become a team captain and write your very own motivational talk for your players! You could be the captain of your favourite football team, for your team at school or for an imaginary team - it's up to you!

Learning outcomes

Children will:

  • consider different communication styles and use them appropriately for their chosen audience
  • develop their vocabulary and writing skills
  • learn how to use sentences with different forms - statement, question, exclamation and command
  • use their imagination and creativity to write their team talk.
