It is so important to make sure we take care of ourselves during these challenging times, from eating healthily to finding ways to feel more positive. To get your children thinking about their everyday routines, radio and TV presenter Roman Kemp is here to set this week’s challenge:
Audio described version and transcript available
Using our challenge template worksheet, we want you to create your own daily routine that is healthy for your mind and body. Thinking about ways to keep fit, eat healthily and get enough sleep, make sure your routine focuses on both your physical and mental health.
Once you’ve filled in the template, don’t forget to share it with us via Twitter @PLCommunities using #PLPrimaryStars and #WeAreOneTeam, or email us at PLPrimaryStars@premierleague.com.
By sending us your challenge entries, you could be selected as our Star of the Week in our home learning newsletter and feature on our community page. You could also be in with a chance to win one of our fantastic poetry books - Beautiful Ambition, full of poems written by famous faces and the Premier League Primary Stars community.

Here to set our second weekly challenge is Dr Alex George who is encouraging everyone to spread some kindness this week with Premier League Primary Stars:

This challenge is all about caring for others, which is a great way to help everyone to feel positive and improve our mental wellbeing.
We want you to think of ways you can support others through acts of kindness. Using our free My acts of kindness template, we’d like you to draw pictures showing how you intend to spread kindness throughout the week. Be as creative as possible and don’t forget to do all the things you’ve planned!
To help you with this challenge and focus on positive mental health, check out Dr Alex George’s top tips for health and mental wellbeing.
Make sure you share your drawings with us for the chance to win one of our poetry books - The Same Inside: Poems about Empathy and Friendship by Liz Brownlee, Matt Goodfellow, and Roger Stevens. You could also be featured as our Star of the Week on our community page and in our weekly newsletter! Send us your drawings via Twitter @PLCommunites using #PLPrimaryStars #WeAreOneTeam or email us at PLPrimaryStars@premierleague.com.

Staying connected with others is a great way to improve mental wellbeing and spread happiness to the people we care about, which is why our first 2021 challenge is the Stay connected poetry challenge.
TV presenter Dan Walker is here to tell you everything you need to know about how to get involved:
Audio described version and transcript available.
We’re challenging children across the country to write a poem to send to somebody that they aren’t able to see in person at the moment. Whether it’s a relative, friend or neighbour, write something to make them smile and brighten their day. Children can complete this task individually or with their family.
Our Stay connected poetry challenge pack includes lots of useful, free resources to help you get writing, including a poem template and top tips from author Lauren Child and poet Joseph Coelho.
