Home learning - Maths

Fun maths activities to do at home inspired by the Premier League.

The Premier League Primary Stars team has selected some fun Maths resources to be used at home.

We will be adding lots more resources over the coming weeks, so make sure to check back soon or sign up to our mailing list to be the first to find out.

  • Calculating with time in football -  We want you to think like a referee and analyse the timelines of real-life Premier League football matches. In this pack, children will practise calculations involving time and learn how to convert between hours, minutes and seconds. This activity pack is suited for children ages 9-11. Try the weekly challenge; the Everyday numbers challenge (suitable for children of all ages). You will be encouraged to think about all the numbers that are a part of your day - get creative and create your own timelines.

  • Position and direction in football - Learn to describe position and give directions. This pack is suitable for children ages 5-7.

  • Handling data in football - These activities will help children learn to read and display fun football data in bar charts. This pack is suitable for children ages 7-9.

  • Stick with Maths – Tackle maths at home with our bitesize maths puzzles using data from Premier League football stickers (ages 7 to 11).  In this pack, you can also download the Colour in Premier League football stickers where you can colour in your favourite Premier League football players.

  • Solve, Shoot, Score - Can you add up correctly to score past Premier League goalkeepers? Try our interactive football-themed game with quick-fire maths questions.

  • Top tips for tackling maths anxiety - Read our news story with top tips about how to tackle maths anxiety.
