This is a fun warm-up for all pupils, which requires no equipment. The pupils play in pairs, moving around an imaginary court, getting both mind and body ready for the activities that follow.
In 'Get steady!' pupils work on the skills of holding a balanced ready position, as well as travelling in different ways and different directions with good body control. These are all used in a variety of net and wall sports including tennis, table tennis and squash.
