No Room for Racism - Jamie Johnson

KS2
Diversity, Fairness, Role models, Equality, Identity

The Premier League is committed to ending racism in football and the wider society. This pack uses the BBC Jamie Johnson series to explore what racism can look like, its causes, and how to fight racism by promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.

In this pack, pupils will make a commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in their school and community through taking a pledge.

These resources have been made in partnership with the BBC and the Jamie Johnson series.

Don’t forget to share any images with us for the gallery by sharing them on @PLCommunities using #PLPrimaryStars or emailing them to PLPrimaryStars@premierleague.com.

Learning outcomes

Pupils will:

  • explain why racism happens and what it can look like.
  • explain what it means to be an ally, specifically to someone who experiences racism.
  • highlight what we can do to be more inclusive and equitable, and the impact this can have.
